Music with a Mission:

Harmonizing Hope for Humanity

Our Vision

We’ve moved past the standard "gig" circuit to curate high-impact musical experiences. Powered by Beyond Me Entertainment, Watson Tunez Impact Band merges corporate sponsorships and civic partnerships with community pillars—like schools, charities, and churches—to fund tours that drive real-world humanitarian change.

Blending Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, and Pop into a signature, high-energy sound, our performances do more than entertain—they fuel the Beyond Me Initiative, our non-profit arm dedicated to local grant-making and alleviating suffering in every city we visit.

Led by founder and lead artist Watson Tunez, our band champions a message of service, resilience, and living beyond oneself. We are seeking elite session musicians, vocalists, DJs, and live sound creatives who can execute high-end productions with precision, passion, and soul. Step onto the stage with us to amplify hope, deliver measurable impact, and redefine live entertainment.

Core Values & Culture

"The 'Impact Touring Experience' isn't a gig—it’s a legacy. Leave behind more than just notes; leave behind a community that is better because you played."

What We Stand For

To be part of the Impact Band, you must align with our DNA:

Music. community. impact

  • Excellence Over Ego: – We are a "floating roster," not a fixed band. We show up prepared, even without a rehearsal.

  • Radical Flexibility: – Our schedule is driven by our clients. We stay "on-call" and ready to move when the impact calls.

  • Professionalism as Standard:– We are work-for-hire contractors. Punctuality, communication, and preparation are non-negotiable.

  • Community First: – We use our platform to provide grants and service opportunities to the audiences we reach.

How the IMPACT BAND Works:

We respect your career as a professional musician. Our model is designed for the modern session player and vocalist:

  • Lead-Driven Scheduling: – We pitch to major organizations. When they book, we call our roster.

  • Tiered Calls: – We maintain 1st, 2nd, and 3rd call lists based on availability and performance.

  • Jam & Studio Sessions: - We hold open-ended creative sessions to build chemistry and record new tracks for Watson Tunez.

  • The Impact Journey:- 80% of our work is touring. We charge premium rates because we deliver premium impact.

FAQ's

Please read though these FAQs carefully. If you still have questions, email us at [email protected]

Is this a permanent band or a session-based collective?

We operate on a paid floating roster model rather than a rigid permanent band structure. This setup allows professional session drummers, synth players, DJs, and sound engineers to pick up scheduled tour dates around their existing routines without minimum monthly requirements.

What position(s) in the backing band are you looking to fill right away?

We are actively recruiting for three core roles within "The Live Three" stage setup: live drummers, synth and keyboard players who can trigger backing tracks, and DJs. We are also onboarding experienced live sound engineers to manage front-of-house audio and technical production.

How and when do I get paid?

Floating roster members earn $250 to $500 per event. Compensation is paid out electronically directly following the completion of each scheduled tour date or Keynote Concert Impact Experience

I have a busy schedule. How much notice will I get for impact experiences?

We post booking dates as soon as institutional schedules and deposits are locked in, typically 30 to 60 days in advance. Because we operate on a flexible paid floating roster model, you pick up tour dates that fit your existing availability without any minimum monthly commitment.

Are rehearsals and soundchecks paid?

Performance compensation is built directly into our $250 to $500 per event rate. We provide pre-synced backing tracks, stage charts, and click tracks in advance so you arrive fully prepped for a seamless, plug-and-play soundcheck on the day of the event.

Do I need to provide my own gear?

Yes. As professional touring musicians, DJs, and sound engineers, you are expected to bring high-quality, road-ready gear. Drummers provide their snare, cymbals, and hardware; synth and keyboard players bring their rig and IEM (in-ear monitor) setup; and sound engineers coordinate directly with front-of-house production

How do I move up to primary roster status?

Roster priority is based on stage energy, punctuality, technical precision, and alignment with our servant-leadership culture. Team members who deliver seamless performances and represent the movement with excellence receive first-priority availability for upcoming tour dates.

What is the dress code for keynote events?

We wear clean, modern, streetwear-inspired apparel aligned with the Live Beyond You brand aesthetic. Specific wardrobe guidelines are sent prior to each event to ensure a unified stage presence.

Can I still play with other bands or do my own projects?

Yes. Our paid floating roster is specifically built for active session musicians, drummers, DJs, and sound engineers. You retain complete freedom to take outside dates, teach, or run your own creative projects.

What happens if I can't make an impact experience I already committed to?

Once you confirm a date, you are locked into that event. If an unexpected emergency arises, you must notify our team immediately so we can route another verified member from our floating roster to cover the date without interrupting technical execution.

What exactly is Beyond Me Entertainment?

Beyond Me Entertainment is a digital record label that produces uplifting music, media, and live experiences designed to inspire everyday humanitarians to take action in their local communities. We provide the soundtrack, visual media, and creative infrastructure that fuel the Live Beyond You movement.

What are "Impact Experiences" and "Social Impact Touring"?

Instead of standard music bookings, we host Keynote Concert Impact Experiences across four institutional verticals: middle schools, high schools, colleges, and churches. These high-energy events blend pop-rap music, live drums, DJ sets, and transformational storytelling to break down social anxiety and activate students for local service through our serve-share-nominate model.

What kind of music will I be playing?

You will perform high-energy pop-rap, hip-hop, and pop arrangements by founder and lead artist Watson Tunez. The music features uplifting melodies, live drum energy, and electronic synth textures that are completely profanity-free and crafted specifically for institutional keynote stages.

Does the Impact Band only perform for non-profit events?

No. We execute paid keynote events across middle schools, high schools, colleges, churches, and corporate sponsor functions. Every event is funded through direct institutional bookings or corporate CSR sponsorships, ensuring all floating roster members are paid $250 to $500 per event.

What is the "Beyond Me Initiative"?

Beyond Me Initiative is our federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Indiana. It handles institutional partnerships and manages our $5,000 Humanitarian Grant Pool. When we perform at schools and churches, Beyond Me Initiative enables students and audience members to nominate local non-profits to receive project grants funded by our grant pool.

Where is the Impact Band based?

Our core operations are based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with tour dates scheduled across the Midwest. Through our paid floating roster model, we welcome session drummers, synth/keyboard players, DJs, and live sound engineers who can travel for scheduled tour dates across the region.

"A music collective is only as strong as its commitment to a mission. We aren't just another "band playing live gigs"; we are building a brother (and sister) hood of professionals, dedicated to not only their craft, but also to making a difference."
